Maybe one day I'll get to live in a city with all the people I love

Labuan.  Who would've thought this is the city I need to call home, perhaps for the next few years in my life. I hate finding myself counting down to the days I can escape from this place when I'm supposed to find comfort here — a place I find my peace, a place that feels like home. Sometimes, I wonder what it feels like to live in a city with all the people I love. With everyone I miss.  Would it feel like Southampton — home to my favourite people, the city where I spent some of my crucial years? Or would it feel like Kudat, a place rooted deep  within me yet somehow a little unfamiliar each time I return. It's that time of the year again

It’s that time of the year again where all the leaves turn their colour to brownish yellow and starting to fall. It’s that time of the year again where the autumn mist is sad yet it’s beautiful.  It’s that time of the year again where all the jumpers and comfy cardigans filled up my wardrobe. It’s that time of the year again where drinking a pumpkin spice hot chocolate is a great way to start the day. It’s that time of the year again to grab that brown leather boots from Primark to be part of my outfit. It’s that time of the year again to lay down on the crumble of dead leaves and take dozens of pictures. It’s that time of the year again to take a walk along the brown and oranges view of the park. It’s that time of the year again where the breezy and cold weather feel so calming. It’s the time of the year again where the season gives you the mix feeling of chill and longing yet it is so aesthetic. It’s the time of the year again where everything bursts with its last beauty. It’s that time of the year again to have a golden annual cascade of autumn leaves looks so dreamy. But sadly, I won’t be seeing, feeling, having all these things again this time.
